As part of Roadburn Redux, we have joined forces with Germany’s Pelagic Records to showcase artists on the label’s roster under the banner ‘Pelagic Presents.’ With no indication of slowing down, this positively prolific label is churning out stellar release after stellar release, even during the last twelve challenging months. Join us as we team up to bring you an exciting collection of premiers, exclusive performances and more. Brace yourselves, we’re going deep…

Crown’s new, third album, The End Of All Things, marks a notable new chapter for the French duo, and they will celebrate its release with a performance at Roadburn Redux.

Building upon Crown’s foundations while also developing and diversifying their sound, The End Of All Things journeys through expansive synthwave, industrial groove and goth beats for a magnificently rich release that sounds just as good cranked up on headphones as it does on the dancefloor.

With the album dropping the very same weekend as Roadburn Redux, their set will be the perfect opportunity for you to get acquainted with it. Filmed in March at the performance hall Le Grillen in Colmar, France, their show will include four new tracks from this album, and the core band of Stephane Azam (vocals and programming) and David Hussler (guitars and programming) will be joined by Nicholas Uhlen on drums and Marc Strebler on guitars and backing vocals.

The band say: “A veil of darkness came like a storm and covered the whole world last year, deeply affecting all of us. Art is and will ever be our salvation in these uncertain times we’re living in. Roadburn has always been a unique experience, and a very special place for both audience and musicians, a sonic temple, always pushing boundaries of the dark art with eyes wide opened pointed to new musical territories. We are deeply honored to be a part of this very special 2021 edition, having the opportunity to share with you these four songs taken from our new album. Long live Roadburn and see you on the road, one day or another.”

Crown will perform as part of Pelagic Presents at Roadburn Redux, between April 16-18.
