Forgotten Tomb to perform at Roadburn Festival 2018 as part of Jacob Bannon’s curation

Forgotten Tomb is a Black Metal outfit from Piacenza, Italy founded by Ferdinando “Herr Morbid” Marchisio. The band was originally a one man project of “Herr Morbid”, with the first number of releases including full lengths Songs to Leave and Springtime Depression being created by him alone. As the band expanded into a full lineup their sound became heavier, incorporating the raw spirit of early hardcore and punk bands.

“I was first exposed to Forgotten Tomb through their incredible Springtime Depression album. To me, Herr Morbid’s vision was immediately appealing. Carrying a relatable sadness and inescapable darkness unequaled by other artists of the time. Since then I’ve been following his growth as an artist and the evolution of the band. I feel that artistically Forgotten Tomb are a perfect fit for the core Roadburn audience. They are a musical black hole that claims everything around it. I can’t wait to experience their set at Roadburn Festival 2018”Jacob Bannon.
