Fotocrime to guide you along the path into a world of darkened rooms lit only by distant neon

While we’ve seen a handful of artists in the genre in past years, 2019 is truly the year in which post-punk makes its strongest showing at Roadburn. While we’ve not forgotten our roots, as displayed in great force elsewhere on the bill, we’re pleased to announce the addition of Fotocrime to the upcoming festivities, as this artist understands the link between dark art forms as well as any.

While main songwriter R. Pattern’s past exploits in underground heavyweights Coliseum prove a thorough understanding of heavy and urgent music, his work with Fotocrime follows a similarly focused path into a world of darkened rooms lit only by distant neon and soundtracked by shimmering guitars and synthesizers. Those looking to be lured into the night for songs equally nostalgic in beauty and modern in clarity will surely be entranced as Fotocrime takes the stage at in Tilburg, Netherlands on Thursday, 11 April as part of Roadburn 2019.

Date: April 11
