FOUDRE!

Oiseaux-Tempête made a big impression on us at Roadburn in 2023: the scope of the vision of the French ensemble played out across the multiple sets of their residency in fine fashion. So when the band’s Frédéric D. Oberland reached out to us with a proposal for a performance for 2025, our interest was definitely piqued. Alongside Romain Barbot (Saåad), and Paul Régimbeau (Mondkopf), Frédéric releases a wild and psychedelic stream of free-flowing, genre-bending sonic delirium under the name FOUDRE!. So naturally, we didn’t resist… please join us in welcoming FOUDRE! to Roadburn!

FOUDRE!’s latest album Voltæ is their first to have been cornered and captured in a studio setting, and blends elements of post-punk, electronica, world music and psych. Bridging the gap between electronic and acoustic, between the earth beneath our feet and the stars above our heads, between the organic and the man-made, FOUDRE! is a force to be reckoned with. You can expect to be transported, to be entranced, to be bewitched, to be lured into dancing with unrestrained abandon. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
