PH to harness cosmoelectric energies at Roadburn 2020

With their logo blazing on the stage behind them on stage, Finland’s PH should not be strangers to the Roadburn audience, having played in 2013 and 2016, and yet, like the collective once known as Mr. Peter Hayden have managed to find a sonic and aesthetic amorphousness. They change their shape constantly. But for that bright ‘PH‘ emblem behind them, you would see them on stage at Roadburn 2020 and swear they were a different band.

Earlier this year, they released Osiris Hayden, their second offering through Svart Records and fifth overall in their prolific decade together. Their latest work finds them embracing new reaches of the cosmic infinite, taking on electronic charge as they never have before and exploring the connection between organic and inorganic audio experiences as if to ask what it is that makes something a natural experience, and what gives us such an arrogance to think we be able might determine that kind of thing to start with?

“We have been privileged to be a part of Roadburn twice before and we are very excited to return for the 2020 edition,” says the collective. “This gathering of open minds roaming back and forth through Weirdo Canyon, coming from different backgrounds and parts of the world yet sharing a common love for art. It is quite impossible to think of any other event as perfect for us to introduce our once-again-reborn essence in. We are eagerly looking forward to sharing the trip that our live shows are with this crowd and being part of the whole Roadburn experience.”

It is with the utmost urgency that we tell you not to miss PH at Roadburn 2020, because we can guarantee that their progression will continue to lead them to new and yet-unexplored reaches. Next time, it could be a totally different universe collapsing.
