Ponte del Diavolo performing Fire Blades From The Tomb

Earlier this year, as winter started to thaw, and gently give way to an oncoming spring, Ponte del Diavolo released their debut full length album, Fire Blades From The Tomb. Their blend of punk attitude and old school doomy occult metal set them apart from the crowd and has marked them out – if there was previously any doubt – as ones to watch. We’re delighted to not only invite them to Roadburn but to host them as they play their debut album in full – giving us the full Ponte del Diavolo experience.

With a name that translates to “the devil’s bridge”, the Turin-based five-piece know how to evoke an esoteric atmosphere steeped in the supernatural. For a band with only one full length under their collective belt, they’ve already made a diabolical impact. In just four short years, their path – via the devil’s bridge of course – has led them to our doorstep, and to this milestone of a performance. They tell us:

“We are incredibly proud to take the stage at Roadburn Festival! The anticipation is building as we prepare to immerse ourselves in the electrifying atmosphere of this legendary festival. We look forward to sharing the stage with some of the best international acts out there. Roadburn is a true milestone, prepare yourselves, for we shall meet there in fury.”
