TAU and The Drones Of Praise will bring their groundbreaking, ceremonial psychedelia to Roadburn 2020

Psychedelia comes in many shapes and forms, and we’re thrilled that TAU and The Drones of Praise will bring their swirling mantras and lysergic, Eastern-tinged neo-psych to Roadburn 2020 on Thursday, April 16.

Part transcendental delights, part acid-folk – think The Wickerman and other tribal incantations – the band revolving around the Irish-Berliner Seán Mulrooney, dives headlong in to sonic experimentalism and extrasensory perception. With a deft nod to song structure and hypnotic drone arrangements weaving the listener directly into the heart of the matter, TAU and The Drones of Praise offers an esoteric, deeply enchanting excursion through body and mind, as captured on their self titled, highly-anticipated sophomore album.

After celebrating their psychedelic brilliance at venues and festivals all over Europe such as Liverpool Psych Fest and Le Guess Who?, the band will finally make a coveted performance at Roadburn – showcasing groundbreaking, ceremonial psychedelia and injecting the festival with an empowering new medicine.
