De Pont
De Pont is hét museum voor hedendaagse kunst, gevestigd in een oude wolspinnerij. Met het karakteristieke zaagtanddak, de intieme wolhokken én de moderne nieuwe vleugel is het museum een blikvanger van Tilburg. Je vindt hier een toonaangevende collectie van schilderkunst, sculptuur, fotografie en videokunst.
Elke derde donderdag van de maand is PUNCH. in De Pont, een gratis te bezoeken museum take-over! Culturele partners worden uitgenodigd een prikkelend programma te maken en op hun unieke manier te reageren op de tentoonstellingen. DJ’s in het café, dansers tussen de kunstwerken of spoken word op zaal. Tijdens PUNCH. kijk je op een andere manier naar kunst en beleef je het museum op een nieuwe wijze.
Op donderdag 18 april van 17.00 tot 21.00 uur neemt OFFROAD De Pont over. OFFROAD programmeert multidisciplinair kunstenaar Ramses3000, die in zijn performance reageert op de zinnenprikkelende, meeslepende tentoonstelling IN THE MIST OF IT ALL, ABOVE FRONT TEARS van de Franse kunstenaar Laure Prouvost – nu te zien is in het museum.
Na zijn debuut ‘Nadja’ is multidisciplinair kunstenaar Yannick Verhoeven, beter bekend als Ramses3000, terug met een nieuw album. Opgenomen in een klooster, streefde Verhoeven ernaar om muziek te componeren die de luisteraar in staat stelt om te ontspannen en de stimuli van het dagelijks leven te verwerken. Eerder werd ‘Thalamus’ tentoongesteld bij kunstinstallaties in Kunstinstituut Melly, Nieuwe Vorst, Stedelijk Museum Breda, en op muziekfestivals zoals ADE, Boring en November Music. Vorig jaar werd zijn muzikale reis getoond op In-Edit, een muziekdocumentairefestival in de Melkweg.
De Pont is the museum for contemporary art, located in an old wool spinning mill. With its characteristic sawtooth roof, intimate wool stalls, and modern new wing, the museum is a landmark of Tilburg. Here, you’ll find a leading collection of painting, sculpture, photography, and video art.
Every third Thursday of the month is PUNCH at De Pont, a museum take-over that’s free to visit! On Thursday, April 18th from 5PM until 9PM, OFFROAD takes over De Pont. OFFROAD presents multidisciplinary artist Ramses3000, who will respond in his performance to the captivating exhibition IN THE MIST OF IT ALL, ABOVE FRONT TEARS by French artist Laure Prouvost – currently on display in the museum.
Following his debut ‘Nadja’, multidisciplinary artist Yannick Verhoeven, better known as Ramses3000, returns with a new album. Recorded in a monastery, Verhoeven aimed to compose music that allows the listener to relax and process the stimuli of daily life. Previously, ‘Thalamus’ was exhibited alongside art installations at Kunstinstituut Melly, Nieuwe Vorst, Stedelijk Museum Breda, and at music festivals such as ADE, Boring, and November Music. Last year, his musical journey was showcased at In-Edit, a music documentary festival at de Melkweg.
