What do you get when you cross the guitarist from 90s noise rockers Harry Pussy, the drummer from Sonic Youth, and the psychedelic stylings of a bassist that has contributed to Comets on Fire and Howlin’ Rain? The answer is Orcutt Shelley Miller, an unholy amalgam of these three gentlemen’s pasts, presents and futures.
The results are psychedelic, expansive, and perfect for a Sunday at Roadburn, when your grip on reality is suitably loose and you start to wonder if it’s possible to remain in this ‘other’ place you find yourself in. Just the right amount of avant-garde jazz intensity fused with raw space rock will see you guided toward the light cast by Orcutt Shelley Miller.
They comment: “In spring of 2026 we’ll be climbing the holy heavy mountain known as Roadburn, see you at the summit!”
We’ll meet you there.
