Donderdag 16 april | 19:00-22:00: Het Concreet – Ode aan Composition 1960 #7 van La Monte Young

Tijdens OFFROAD brengt Het Concreet in de St. Jozefkerk een drie uur durende ode aan de uitvoering van Composition 1960 #7 van La Monte Young. Met slechts twee aangehouden tonen ontvouwt zich een traag maar intens landschap van microverschuivingen, resonantie en tijdsbesef. Tape, harmonium, pedal steel, elektrische gitaar en cello weven samen een subtiel analoog klankveld. In het langzaam verschuivende licht wordt de kerk een plek voor aandacht, overgave en contemplatie.

Vrije in- en uitloop tussen 19.00 en 22.00 uur.

Thursday 16 April | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Het Concreet – Tribute to Composition 1960 #7 by La Monte Young

During OFFROAD, Het Concreet will perform a tribute to La Monte Young’s Composition 1960 #7 in St. Joseph’s Church over the course of three hours. Built from just two sustained tones, the piece slowly opens into an intense landscape of micro-shifts, resonance and altered time perception. Tape, harmonium, pedal steel, electric guitar and cello merge into a subtle analogue field of sound. With light shifting almost imperceptibly, the church becomes a space for attention, surrender and contemplation.

Visitors are free to enter and leave between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
