With another edition of Roadburn coming to a close, we have so much to reflect on, so much to celebrate and such a lot to be thankful for.
Although we are tired we are ending this year’s festival as we started it: full of optimism and positivity. The feeling – both on and off stage – has been relaxed and open-hearted. It seems as though this atmosphere allowed people to explore Roadburn with conviction and passion, pushing boundaries and exploring new territories together.
We have hosted some of the most technically ambitious performances Roadburn has ever seen, and in contrast we have witnessed bands in their rawest form over at the skatepark. Across the whole spectrum of possibilities, artists have excelled, surpassing our expectations every step of the way.
The boundaries of what Roadburn can be have been pushed further than ever before. Audiences welcomed new, young, and experimental artists with open arms, and this dynamic fuelled some of the most electrifying performances we have ever experienced.
As we step out of the shared reality we’ve been inhabiting over the last few days, we do so with an incredible amount of excitement for the future. Our hearts are full, and we’re incredibly grateful to each and every person that has made this year’s Roadburn the beautiful thing it became.
For those of you who already know that you want to be here with us next year, tickets for Roadburn 2025 will go on sale tomorrow at 12pm CEST. They’ll be priced the same as 2024 (including service fees) until Monday June 3rd.
Walter, on behalf of Roadburn.
