Belgian four-piece, ECHT! have been perfecting their sound and performance since 2017; with three highly regarded and experimental albums under their belts prior to the release of this year’s Boilerism, expectations were high. Unfazed and ready to dazzle, ECHT! pushed their boundaries further than ever before, embracing new elements such as drum’n’bass and UK garage within their psychedelic sound.
Describing Boilerism as “an ode to club culture”, you can take that as a clear signal that you’ll need to bring your dancing shoes along to Roadburn this year – ECHT! will make their Roadburn debut and they’ll not do it quietly. Expect trance-inducing interludes, thrill-seeking intensity and potentially a portal to another time and place. Don’t say you weren’t warned…
