The saga continues with Roadburn’s legendary annual Heavy Jazz Jam at Paradox, this year led by Ragnarök Trio who, for this very special occasion, have mutated into the Ragnarök Extended Sextet.
Alessandro Fongaro (bass), Jelle Roozenburg (guitars) and Björg Blöndal (vocals & effects) enter the arena alongside Thorkell Ragnar (guitars), Jesse Schilderink (tenor sax) and Jens Meijer (drums).
So, that’s double the bludgeoning force and sheer ingenuity of an already impressive unit. Ragnarök Sextet will perform a potent mix of original compositions and free improvisation – a glorious plunge into the deep end that you wouldn’t want to miss!
