KING YOSEF, AKA Tayves Yosef Pelletier, kicked off 2024 with a bang. A two-track single signalled that a new year and new music was upon us; Cut The Cord/Shame’s Mirror is as bleak and unrelenting as anything in King Yosef’s back catalogue. Welcome to the dawn of a new chapter in the unfolding tale of King Yosef.

It is with pleasure that we’re proud to announce that King Yosef will be heading to Roadburn this coming April, offering up a heady mix of industrial noise, hip hop, and the sound of metal on metal in musical form. Defying easy categorisation, King Yosef moves fluidly between genres, cherry-picking the bits that best suit his style and mood at any given time. The results are a dizzying yet coherent amalgam of sticky beats, chilling interludes and scathing vitriol.

As a festival, we like to push boundaries and embrace heavy music in all its forms. We see a kindred spirit in King Yosef, an artist that seeks to create community through creativity. Join us in welcoming him to Roadburn this Spring.
