MAQUINA. has a sound that is as if it was crafted specifically with the dancefloor in mind. The Portuguese trio summon forth a late night, fuzzed up, dimly lit kinda vibe – one where their driving beats and hypnotic Krautrock commands the room. This is exactly the effect that we had in mind when we booked MAQUINA. for Roadburn 2025. 

Whether you find yourself immersed in their debut – the aptly named Dirty Tracks For Clubbing – or their most recent full-length, Prata, MAQUINA. have a knack for layering up a mesmerising smorgasbord of sound that leaps deftly between pulsating EBM and psychedelic whirlpools. Their high octane energy is perfect to re-energise you after a day on your feet at Roadburn.
