Moloch deal in bad vibes; the sort that you can feel crushing you when in their presence. In many ways, the opposite of what we hope you leave Roadburn with, but nonetheless we invited them to join us in April. After you’ve basked in the sunshine of some other shows at Roadburn, you can turn to Moloch to bring you back down to earth with a bleak and filthy thud.

Hailing from Nottingham in the UK, Moloch have been peddling their DIY-brand of sludge and misery for many years now. Perhaps you saw them at Roadburn many years back or perhaps you’ve seen them spreading their fetid gospel out and about around the globe. Either way, they’ll be rolling up and showing us a thoroughly bad time this Spring.

They tell us: “We played Roadburn in 2015, the sense of ambition and consideration was obvious back then. It’s been really cool watching it go from strength to strength over the years and fleshing out those qualities into something bigger, more varied and encouraging of artists that it’s known for.”

Well, okay… they were nicer about us than we were about them, but we’re honestly very fond of them, and it all evens out in the end…
