Oeds Beydals’ Iron Chin to welcome the San Diego Takeover to The Netherlands
Dutch guitar hero Oeds Beydals is no stranger to Roadburn; you may have seen him tearing up the stage with Death Alley in previous years. Inspired by our invitation to the San Diego bands, Oeds has put together the perfect band to welcome them to The Netherlands with! Iron Chin will feature Oeds and some of his favourite Dutch musicians, and promises to set us off reminiscing about the Allman Brothers and Captain Beyond amongst others on Sunday, April 22 at the 013 venue.
Oeds comments: “Roadburn is always the opportunity to move forward and push boundaries. When Walter told me about the San Diego Takeover I was instantly inspired and started to write songs specifically for this show. Songs that matched some people I’ve been wanting to see at Roadburn for quite some time, and that leave enough space to have some of my favourite San Diego musicians make an appearance. This newborn band is called Iron Chin and will feature Ries Doms (Powervice, Hooghwater, The kik) Wout Kemkens (Donnerwetter / Shaking Godspeed) and Job van de Zande (Dool, The Devils Blood) and of course, your favourite San Diego guests.”
