Back in 2022, we hosted the live debut of Silver Knife – an alchemical configuration of musicians hailing from The Netherlands, Belgium and France. Their dizzying display of black metal prowess left a mark on us, and three years down the line we’re thrilled to host a return appearance from them as they present material from their anticipated self-titled second album.

Whilst the four-piece retain an air of mystery about them, what is undisputed is their innovative take on black metal; with a nod to traditional genre values, they are unafraid to traverse new terrain in search of newer, even more compelling elements to enhance their sound. We’re right alongside them as they break this new ground, and the presentation of material from the new album is sure to be a ‘must-watch’ performance of Roadburn 2025.

The band tell us: “We’re energized to present our new album at Roadburn – a continuous journey steeped in aggressive melancholy, coated with the blended scents of submission and fear.”
