Dug up from the ground, beamed down from the heavens, or entirely conjured out of the human imagination, there’s no sure fire way to know the true origins of Ak’chamel. What we do know is that this trio – who have been looming in our peripheral vision for a few years now – create a vibe that is uniquely theirs. Part psychedelia, part familiar folk, part liturgical post apocalyptica, all Ak’chamel.
With their theatrical costumes and macabre presentation alongside, the musical journey they take you on has the means to be transformative. We suggest you throw caution to the wind and embark upon this particular journey with an open mind.
They comment: “The moment we got word we’re playing Roadburn, it hit us like a gut-shot coyote in the moonlight, all blood and revelation! More than a gig, Roadburn is a baptism in feedback and sweat, where the stage swallows you whole and spits you out with polished bones. We are honored.”
